Membership is open to all youth ages 9 - 18 or anyone having entered the third grade. Agriculture, food, clothing and demonstration projects are just some of our activities. Meetings are held at 6:30 p.m. on the second Monday, September through May in the PAC or other location as noted.

Age Managers

Are you in the prime of your life? All parishioners 60 years of age and older meet every third Thursday in the Parish Activity Center usually at noon for a meal and program. Watch the Sunday bulletin and monthly newsletter for program specifics and meeting times.

Altar Servers

Any boys or girls who have received their first communion are encouraged to serve at mass. Guidance and instructions will be provided.

Baptism

A Pre-Baptism Class held on the first Monday of every month in the Parish Activity Center at 7:30pm.  All information is provided at the class.  Please call the church office if you have any questions.  Godparents need to complete and turn in this form.

Boy Scouts

Young men in the 6th grade and up meet every Monday in the Middle School Youth Building at 7:00 p.m. We participate in extensive outdoor programs and many other activities each month and throughout the year.

Cub Scouts

1st - 5th grade boys learn the basics of scouting. We participate in many activities. Call for further information and meeting times.

Framework

The young adult ministry at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Bryan, Texas. This group invites all single and married young adults between the ages of 21-35 to build the "Framework" of their Christian faith through fellowship and diving deeper into what we, as Catholics, believe.

Good Samaritan Gabriel Project

Habitat for Humanity

This national organization works to build home for families who are currently living in sub-standard housing. All help is welcomed. Call for meeting times and project construction details.

K.J.T.

Henry Zapalac
The K.J.T. Society was organized in 1892. The initials stand for Ceska Katolicka Jednota Tesaska. Their goals include bringing people together to help each other support, protect and preserve the Catholic Faith for all generations. Activities are spiritual, social, charitable, and financial. Meetings are held on the second Sunday of each month in the Parish Activity Center at 9:30 a.m.

K.J.Z.T.

Liz Zemanek
K.J.Z.T. are the initials for Katolicka Jednota Zen Texaskych (Union of Czech Catholic Women of Texas). Today, they are known as Catholic Family Fraternal of Texas, a Life Insurance fraternal including membership of men and women of all ages and ancestry. Activities are spiritual, social, and charitable. Meetings are held quarterly on the second Sunday of that month in the Middle School Library at 10:00 a.m. Watch the bulletins for exact dates and times.

7th - 12th grade youth meet every Sunday in the KEYSIS Youth Room from 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. We are very active during the school year. We participate in retreats, sports events, conventions, liturgical participation, parish activities, civic service projects and much more.

Knights of Columbus

Be a member of this world-renowned men's organization. If you are a Catholic male age 18 or older, there's a place for you in our council 11759. Meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month in the PAC after a meal beginning at 6:30pm. Registration forms are available in the church office.

Lay Carmelite Community

Do you feel called to a life of prayer and individual ministry? Do the writings of Saints: Teresa of Avila, St. Therese (the little flower), John of the Cross and Edith Stein attract you?  A vocation as a Third Order Lay Carmelite entails a formation process. Meetings are held the first Saturday of each month in the St. Joseph Parish Activity Center Conference Room from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. following the 8:15am Mass.  Visitors are welcome. Mt. Carmel Rosary Guild

Rosaries are hand made for foreign missions and poverty-stricken areas, Youth 2000 prayer festival and the women's federal prison as well as to sell in the Guild gift shop located in the entrance of the church. Volunteers are needed also to work in the gift shop after all masses and at the Christmas Store that we sponsor for St. Joseph School students. Meeting are held the second Wednesday of each month in the Parish Activity Center at 1:10 p.m. where business is discusses and speakers present talks on spiritual topics.

Our Lady's Scapular Workers

The Brown Scapular of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel are hand made and sent away for distribution. Adult volunteers are needed. Call for more information and meeting times.

Perpetual Adoration

Can you give just one hour of your time to spend with our Lord in the Blessed Sacrament in the Adoration Chapel? Volunteer for a specific hour or just to be a substitute on an occasional basis. The chapel is open 24 hours a day during the week beginning at 1:00p.m. Sunday until 3:00 p.m. Saturday.

Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)

All adults seeking to join or just desiring to learn more about the Catholic Church and anyone wanting to update their Catholic faith are encouraged to attend. Meetings are held every Tuesday during the school year in the Parish Activity Center from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Babysitting is available.

RE (Religious Education)

Religious Education classes are held in the Elementary School (for elementary school students) and at the High School Campus (for middle school students) August through April for those 4 years old through 9th grade. 10th grade - 12th grade students are combined in one class. Classes are held on Wednesdays from 6:00 pm. - 7:00 p.m. or Sundays from 8:45 - 9:45 a.m. (elementary school students) and 8:30-9:30 a.m. (middle school students)  We provide sacramental preparation classes for youth and adults. Teachers, classroom aides, and office help are always needed.

Respect Life

Strives to instill a respect and concern for all human life, from the unborn to the elderly. Participate in parish and community efforts as well as those in our diocese.

St. Vincent De Paul Society


Volunteers are always needed to make home visits to interview those families needing help with rent, food, utility payments, clothing, etc. Training will be provided.

This retail establishment is operated solely with donations and volunteer workers. Can you give an hour of your time to work in the store? Store hours are Tuesday - Friday 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon.

Usher's Club

Meetings are held on the 4th Monday of each month in the Parish Activity Center at 7:00 p.m. All adult men are welcome to participate. Ushers are needed for all masses and special services.

Women's Guild

Meetings are held four times throughout the year in the Parish Activity Center and are announced in the Sunday bulletin and the monthly newsletters. Two social events are held annually and all ladies of the parish are encouraged to become members.
