The community of the Apostles of the Interior Life was founded in Rome, Italy in 1990 by Father Salvatore Scorza, a priest of the Diocese of Rome. Its members are consecrated women who are dedicated full-time to spiritual direction and evangelization. The Apostles of the Interior Life do their apostolate in Italy and in the United States. In Rome, there is both the House of Formation and an apostolic house. In the United States, they are present at the St Lawrence Catholic Center at Kansas University. The Provincial House of the Apostles is in Kansas City. In August 2008, three sisters, Celestina, Raffaella and Michela, opened a house in College Station upon invitation from the St. Mary's Catholic Center at Texas A&M University. The sisters offer spiritual direction to students who desire it, and evangelize on campus. They are often invited to give meditations and talks to other groups. Therefore joining us here at St. Joseph Age Managers.
