Faith Formation Registration -- Our registration for the school year 2021-2022 will be open online on September 4th. All registrations for Faith Formation and Sacramental Formation will be completed on the parish website. We will offer two models of Faith Formation this year.
Option 1: First, we will offer traditional classroom based formation held in the St. Joseph Elementary school as many are used to for grades K-5. These classes will begin the first week of October to allow for the renovations in the elementary school to be completed. Costs will be $40 per student.
Option 2 A family model that seeks to be more flexible with busy schedules and at the same time form parents and their kids at the same time. Parents will be taught by Fr. Brian once a month. They will then share that lesson with all of their kids in a small group of 2 to 3 other families. Groups will be chosen by geography and may meet anywhere they like twice during the course of a month. There will also be an optional monthly community event once a month such as a picnic at the park, rosary making, or Holy Hour. More information can be found
HERE.
NOTE: The new school year is here and we are happy and excited to announce that we are returning to in-person classes this fall. We will follow the 2021 Temporary Covid-19 Guidelines for Catechesis in the Diocese of Austin. [All parishes are expected to provide catechetical and sacramental formation for the 2021-2022 Catechetical Year]
Sacramental Formation -- This year’s Sacramental Preparation classes [First Communion, Reconciliation, Confirmation, and RCIC] will meet on Wednesdays in Christ the Good Shepherd Chapel.
NOTE: All in-coming 2nd Grade Students are eligible for our First Communion Program.
Youth Ministry: Our programs for 6th-12th graders are some of the best around. This is more than just a CYO or youth group. We're offering a comprehensive youth ministry program that is just as catechetically rigorous as it is fun. Click
