Marriage is a beautiful and sacred vocation that calls couples to grow in love, unity, and holiness. In the challenges and joys of marriage, it is essential for couples to support each other and build strong foundations grounded in faith. To help foster this growth, we invite you to participate in our monthly Supper Club, where young married couples gather for fellowship, community, and spiritual nourishment.
Our Mission
We strive to support young married couples in their journey toward holiness by creating a space where they can grow together, form deep connections with others in similar life stages, and enrich their marriages through faith.
“Love one another as I have loved you.” — John 15:12
In our ministry, we encourage couples to deepen their relationship with Christ and each other. Our Supper Club meetings are focused on both social and spiritual growth. Through shared meals, conversation, and reflection, we aim to foster a sense of community while encouraging couples to model their love after the self-giving love of Christ.
The Supper Club
Once a month, we gather as couples to share a meal, discuss topics of faith and marriage, and support each other in prayer. Each gathering provides an opportunity to:
• Build strong relationships with other Catholic couples • Reflect on the beauty and challenges of marriage in today’s world • Grow in faith through Scripture, prayer, and discussion
“Where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” — Matthew 18:20
By gathering together in fellowship, we believe that Christ is truly present among us, strengthening our marriages and helping us grow in love.
Grow in Holiness Together
The Catechism of the Catholic Church teaches us that the sacrament of marriage is a means of sanctification. Married couples are called to reflect God’s love and to help each other on the path to holiness. Our ministry is here to help young couples grow in their understanding of this sacred vocation.
“The grace of the sacrament of Matrimony thus perfects the human love of the spouses, strengthens their indissoluble unity, and sanctifies them on the way to eternal life.” — Catechism of the Catholic Church 1641
Scripture, Tradition, and Papal Guidance
Our gatherings are inspired by the richness of Scripture and the Church’s teaching on marriage. As St. Paul reminds us, “Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the Church and gave himself up for her” (Ephesians 5:25). This sacrificial love is at the heart of a strong and holy marriage.
Additionally, we look to recent papal documents such as Amoris Laetitia (The Joy of Love), where Pope Francis emphasizes the importance of married couples growing in faith together, living their vocation with joy, and being a witness to God’s love in the world:
“Marriage is a precious sign, for when a man and a woman celebrate the sacrament of marriage, God is ‘mirrored’ in them: He impresses in them His own features and the indelible character of His love.” — Amoris Laetitia 121
